Privacy policy.
How JustOnNet handles information you choose to send us.
Effective 25 October 2026
Who is responsible
JustOnNet is the contact for privacy questions about this website and enquiries. Write to our contact form. We do not claim that a policy can remove every legal or security risk.
Information we receive
If you submit an enquiry or email us, we receive the name, business details, contact address, location, package choice and message you include. If you become a client, we may also receive the business information, account access details, content and payment records needed for the agreed service. Please do not send passwords or sensitive personal information in an initial enquiry.
How we use it
We use enquiry information to respond, assess the requested service, confirm scope and costs, and keep necessary business records. Client information is used to provide the agreed upkeep or website service, communicate about work, issue invoices and meet legal obligations. We do not use enquiry details for unrelated marketing without a separate choice.
The form and demo
The contact and “Are you ready now?” forms submit the information you enter—including your phone number and the map coordinates you select—to FormSubmit, which delivers it to our email inbox and sends an automatic acknowledgement to the email address you provide. FormSubmit may use a spam check before accepting the message and retains submissions in its archive for 30 days. The “Try it for your brand” page runs in your browser and does not send the name or location you type to JustOnNet. Your email provider and ours process our follow-up messages.
Hosting, service providers and third parties
When you open our map, map tiles are requested from OpenStreetMap servers, which receive your IP address and the tile requests needed to display the area. Your chosen business coordinates are included in an enquiry sent to FormSubmit only when you submit the form. Read the OpenStreetMap Foundation privacy policy. Our hosting provider may process technical request information, such as IP address, browser details and security logs, to deliver and protect the site. Email and other service providers may handle information needed to communicate or provide the agreed service. If your package includes work on Google Business Profile, directories or a website host, those third parties handle information under their own policies. We share only the information needed for the work or when required by law.
AI-assisted website work
For website projects, we may use AI tools such as Claude and ChatGPT to help draft code, layout options and page copy. Before work begins, we will explain which business content may be shared with those providers. Do not send passwords or sensitive personal information in an initial enquiry. We do not intentionally submit account credentials to AI tools.
Music player
The “Not ready yet?” page offers a choice of six songs and a Charlie Chaplin film through embedded YouTube players. Each player loads only after you press its Play button. YouTube may receive technical information about your visit and apply its own privacy practices. Each selected song also has a direct YouTube link.
Optional badge and display choices
The “Are you ready now?” page lets you separately request a JustOnNet badge or indicate that you are open to a small promotional mention on your website or eligible Google Business Profile content. We receive these choices only if you submit the form. We use them to discuss the requested badge or digital mention. Neither choice is required to enquire about a package, and nothing is displayed without agreeing the details with you.
Optional analytics and storage
Google Analytics 4 through Google Tag Manager runs only if you choose “Allow analytics” in the footer. Until then, the Google measurement script does not load. You can reject analytics or change your choice in the footer at any time. We remember your choice in your browser’s local storage for up to one year. We do not currently load Microsoft Clarity or advertising pixels. If we add them, we will update this policy and the relevant consent choices before activation.
When allowed, Google Analytics measures page visits and technical information, such as browser and device details, referral information and the pages visited. It may use analytics cookies and identifiers. Google processes technical connection information to provide the service. We do not send the names, email addresses, business locations or messages entered into our enquiry forms or demos to Analytics. Automatic user-provided data detection, automatic form-interaction measurement, Google Signals and advertising personalization are disabled in our setup.
Choosing “Reject analytics” stops this measurement and removes the Analytics cookies that this website can access. Google may already have received data from earlier visits when analytics was allowed. For information about Google’s processing, read how Google uses information from sites that use its services. Essential hosting storage and security logs, and third-party services you choose to use, have separate purposes and privacy practices.
Security and retention
We take reasonable steps to limit access to service information and use the tools required to perform the work. No online service or email system can promise absolute security. We keep enquiry and client records for as long as needed for the service, follow-up, accounting, dispute handling or legal duties, then delete or anonymise them when no longer needed. Exact retention periods depend on the record and applicable obligations.
Your choices and requests
You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, request correction or deletion, withdraw a consent where applicable, or raise a privacy concern by writing to our contact form. We may need to verify your identity and retain records where law or legitimate service obligations require it. We will respond in line with applicable law.
Updates
We may update this policy as our services or legal requirements change. The current version and effective date will appear here. Material changes affecting existing clients will be communicated where required.
